PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

As we close in on the transition from one President to another in our local CSI Chapter, I would like to thank Brad Teeters for his devotion, dedication, and commitment to leadership for the Chapter. Brad was also head of our Electronics Committee, and did a great job as President. I will lean on him heavily during my term as president. I will also lean heavily on our other past president’s, as they are a wealth of knowledge, and are always very accessible, courteous, and willing to share their experiences and thoughts.

My hopes and plans for my tenure will include doing everything I can do to continue CSI’s mission of advancing the process of creating and sustaining the built environment for the benefit of the construction community. But I would also like to expand the possibilities of it’s already diverse membership, and to include other organizations at our meetings as much as possible. CSI’s diverse membership is a vital key to it’s future. I believe it is imperative to foster friendships with other organizations, so they can understand what our mission is, and become a partner with us for the common goal of bettering and educating the construction community. The benefits of freely interchanging information with all our organizations will lead to a greater understanding for all, of the built environment, as well as the future of the built environment for our children, and our children’s children.

As we move forward and continue with the recovery of our economy, our Chapter will do it’s best to accommodate the needs of it’s members, as well as providing the educational information on construction techniques and technologies, and construction document preparation that has been the hallmark of CSI, and has made CSI THE place to come to for construction information and documentation.

Thank you all for being CSI members, and I look forward to my term as your New President.

David S. Wrigley, CSI, CCS
